It could be, but a valve with a mashed ski-jump'll stick closed, or not open far enough, which I wouldn't expect to cause roughness at startup.

Mendel might be suggesting a more circuitous story—the sticking valve (which the TSB does mention) supposedly being the cause of a gasket failure (which the TSB doesn't mention), which is then the cause of the rough startup (which the TSB does mention)—but that's clearly more than can be supported on the TSB itself.

Hey Mendel, I have been reading books and watching a lot of history based documentaries. I know nothing about the history of Canada. Could you recommend a good place to start? For one, I didn't realize how much Canada participated in WWII. References are made, but no details! I see or read things like "Canada assisted". You can shoot me some suggestions here or PM me.

Ah geez, I only live here.

I grew up in a small town up the coast, Powell River. One of the last times we were up there picked up a couple of interesting books: Once Upon a Stump, and People Of The White City.

But yeah, the big picture, Canada, I would just Google.

I find the United States interesting as heck, went through a lot of the Ken Burns documentaries.

10-4 Thanks! Historical Documentaries I like. Especially those done by Historians who comb through so much details to give you a good big picture of what was going on.
