I have already purchased my tires so looking to see if these tires will match my 2012 Prius two: Buy Tires Online | TireBuyer.com The have a +35 offset and I am using 195/65/15 tires. Thanks for any help!
Did you look up to see what the original Prius wheel offset is I can't remember what it is right off but generally I try to stay within plus or minus five of that reading generally now I've been way off on other vehicles without anything rubbing or causing problems but looking strange and it's not good to space the wheels exponentially further out than needed might load up front suspension components differently and things like that I put a similar set of wheels as to what you're buying in 15s on a 14-in Corolla 4 lug similar offset to all Toyota wheels so they should work fine
I am not certain but I think the OE offset is either +42 or +45. Not certain though. if accurate what would it mean if I bought these wheels at +35?
The rims should fit. I had Audi rims on my prius. These had +38 offset. (195 65 R15) So +35 should also work without any problems. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
You can probably get by with +35s but I’ve never gone beyond a +40. Ideal offset to keep the tire edge flush on a G3 Prius is +42, but seems to be fewer choices in that +42mm range now.
