Interestingly, it looks like Canada will not get the solar roof, it appears we will get the fixed glass roof instead, and I’m ok with that. Would have preferred if the front glass opened, but still better than nothing.

 

Where's the yellow? And I think the car would look great in British Racing Green.

 

I would have loved to see more colour options (I was going to go for Blue Magnetism if I ended up with a 2022), although I do really like the blue/grey.

Agreed. It seems ‘Reservoir Blue’ is an option on the non-plugin, but not the Prime. Huh?

Colour choices are very disappointing, as I really prefer a *colour* to my car, and not contribute to the endless sea of “shade” cars on the road... Coloured vehicles adds some nice spice to the roads.

However, that being said, given the likely limited availability of the cars, I don’t feel so strongly about it that I would necessarily turn down a vehicle just because of the colour (if it means waiting several more months)…. Though Red does look like it will be my first choice for a Prime now.

 

Same here. I think the Blue Magnetism was a great colour and the Prime looked great with it - though the red was also very sharp. Very surprising they didn’t keep a colour similar to this with the new gen.

Blue is also my favourite colour, and I guess this means my streak of owning blue Prius will sadly likely come to an end.

I think not offering the mustard colour they showed on stage is a mistake - that would have been quite the statement colour.

 

The XSE premium in wind chill pearl is sounding great! I currently have a 22 premium with tech on order but looks like it won’t be built. Anyone have any guess on how much more expensive the 23 will be. Getting a ton of more equipment. 100+ horsepower, awd, memory seats, panoramic roof, 50% more EV range. I’ve been reading people 5-10% which would be reasonable? Time will tell!

 

Also what is the colour cutting edge? Is that the yellow?

 

I'm thinking it's the silver - no mention of the yellow anywhere in the US or Canada that I've seen.

 

it's become the norm to offer some colors at a premium, which is pretty sad when your colors are limited. oh well, you can always get the free color and then go to the expense of having the car wrapped

I don't see any mention of all-wheel-drive for the '23 Prius Prime in Canada. Is it safe to assume it will be two-wheel-drive?
