Neat. Not sure about the high rear door handles. My Swift Sport has them - they're much better than the awful ones on C-HR, but still, an acquired taste. AND - I've just read that SUZUKI have scrapped them for the 2023 update!!
The Sonic and Spark also had them. Designers like them because they result in a clean look to the rear door. Not having any kids, I didn't have an issue with them.
All that labeling in English. This drives costs up as isn't this a world wide car and wouldn't you want local language. Or is it part of the plot for English to take over the world..
it's not that it HAS a glove box, Toyota prints the letters on it - in case you can't figure it out for yourself. great .... . . by the same token they should have written door handles on the door handles & stamp "driver seat" on the seat upholstery. think of all the possibilities. Toyota really sold their self short on Easter eggs .... just thinking about how many there could have been .... Tires - hood - steering wheel - missed opportunities it would seem better if an Easter egg truly gave owners feelings of a nice euphoric feeling .... something that you truly never expected and were extreamly glad you got. take for instance running out of fuel in a Tesla. gauge reads zero. and yet you can go for many more miles; Tesla saves more range at 0% than other EVs, test finds . now that's an Easter egg .
very clever toyota, take something away then give it back as an Easter egg. maybe next Easter egg can be a spare tire . .
These are very likely pre-production prototypes; the rumor sites were saying production starts next month. They hand build some examples of the finished design to make sure everything fits together and testing. Looks to me like the lettering was stamped in after the piece was formed. That plastic aso looks rough in the photo.
