I've had good luck with a Motorola V557 and a Nokia 6160i through Cingular. Both work well with the car.

I have the Motorola RAZR V3 with Cingular and it pairs nicely with my car. Verizon I heard is good but seems to have restrictions regarding the phone book on some of their phones. Other than that you can't really go wrong.

I have had good luck with the Sony Ericcsson from Cingular. It was a real pain setting up the one-touch dialing, because it only takes the first number listed for each person. Once you figure that out, it works well.

I've been using the Verizon Crzr with a 2007 Prius for about two weeks now. It's a snap to setup, just follow the onscreen prompts and the Crzr pairs every time I get into the car. Most people have no idea I'm using the automobile microphone with bluetooth so it's excellent in that regard, they hear no echo or other problems and I hear them perfectly. BUT ---- Verizon is trying to get every nickel they can out of you and refuses to implement the automatic phonebook transfer feature. So you'll have to manually type every name and phone number into the Prius phonebook. Except for that irritation, the Crzr works beautifully with the Prius.

I have LG VX8300 and Prius 07, Complete Phone book transfer does not work but you can transfer 10 names at a time. Say you have 81 names on your phone book you need to transfer 9 times.

It call Send Name Card under (Bluetooth --> HandsFree ---> Options ---> Send Name Card --> Mark 10 name -->Done

If you mark more than 10 it will notify you!!

Thanks for your reply. I have a two year old lg and like it. I am now really close to choosing the new vx8600 lg phone. I would assume that it should be just as good of a fit but it is really new.
    Thanks for your input. :)

The Verizon e815 works well. As mentioned earlier, the inability of sending the phonebook is a big problem. I got a non-Verizon BT phone off eBay, put the phonebook into that and set the phonebook to the Prius that way. I have a 2005, so I can't enter the numbers manually.

My Motorola SLVR and wife's RAZR pair up to the Prius without a problem. Phonebook transfer is not fantastic but it works.

I have the Blackberry 8700c (Cingular) that I use in my 2005 Prius. I have one problem where the bluetooth randomly gets disconnected and then immediately connects again. It is very annoying because it sometimes about twice every minute. I used to have a Motorola v551 in the past and it never had this problem so I'm thinking that this might be a Blackberry problem.

Let me know if anybody else is having this problem

I have a Cingular Nokia 6102i, and it works fine. As with most bluetooth phones, I had to send the phonebook one name at a time, but it was relatively painless since I don't have a large phonebook.

We took our 2006 Prius and our Verizon RAZR V3c to the Verizon techs and they told us their version of the RAZR could not transfer our 300 contacts from the RAZR to the Prius. :( :( :(

Can you tell me what menu you are using in your info for transferring 10 names at a time. I have the identical car and package you have and I can't find the menu you describe. Please help.

Yes I would like to know that also.

Ok so I did buy a lg vx8600 Verizon phone :)
At this point I have just loaded, manually, a few phone numbers. I have not transfered any numbers via the contacts list nor have I loaded voice dailing.
Any workable hints here would be appreciated.
So far the bluetooth of the Prius (four calls both directions) works great and I really like it. Just need to transfer more numbers. I know from previous posts that Verizon does not enable the transfer of the entire contact list. :(
