We took delivery of our 2007 Barcelona Red Touring Prius with package 4 yesterday. OH MY GOD, WHAT A COOL CAR!!!!!!! Better than we expected, but we are only 24 hours into our honeymoon with the car. 40.7 MPG out of the box. so far, this is what has happened; Our 9 year old son thinks, "this is the coolest car in the world." I still think our 1982 911 is cooler, but this is really close. My wife and I are trying to think of a way to get a second Prius - eliminating the "I want to drive" discussions. Most of our SUV driving neighbors have been over and have asked many, many questions about the car. They have all been well behaved A she=devil BITC# woman in a big black Expedition actually honked at me for not turning right on red at an intersection yesterday. It was posted, "NO RIGHT TURN ON RED", but I guess she just did not care. By the way, she had a W/04 sticker on the back of her SUV. It does not shock me anymore the way those people think and the lengths they will go. And, AND! we went to go see Happy Feet with the kids yesterday!!!!!!! - It made me feel good after the movie getting into the Prius after the film. Go see it, good movie. All this in 24 hours!!!!!!!!!! Lots to read, lots to learn. Lots of talking about the car. Just wanted to let people know what I have been through.
Congrats...enjoy the ride. Even after a year, I am still finding out new things about the car and still enjoying the ride!!!
Congratulations! I'm hoping to take possession of my '07 Barcelona Red #6 this weekend. Dealer called me on Monday with the VIN# and asked me when I wanted to come in and finish the paperwork. (it too has been 6 weeks since I ordered). Happy Touring...
