Just an FYI I like the 2007 Prius with JBL audio but hated having to use the antiquated AUX plug in cable. I looked around for a Bluetooth alternative and came across this one. There are cheaper alternatives but this one is not only high quality audio but also has great RFI noise suppression. It cohabitates perfectly with the cellphone BT. Allows me to stream free live radio or Pandora on long trips as most cellphone plans have unlimited data these days even if the data is slowed after some quota. It’s about $40 so no big expense. Great alternative to Sirius having to pay per month.
Link does not show. $40? Maybe better to just get a cheap JVC, Sony, Kenwood BT head unit for under $100

I thought it was a typo so I ignored the period. Anyway I’ve bought three of them and installed them in three cars, they work flawlessly for me. And as I’ve said, you can order one, free ship from Amazon, takes two minutes to install and pair and if you have problems Amazon pays return shipping. Much better than agonizing over whether it will or won’t work.
That works but the firefly device is more convenient for $40 and the ADAC makes the sound better. Whatever you prefer.
Not a dumb question The usb is for power only In the center console there is a cigarette lighter outlet and an audio in outlet right next to it You need to get a probably $2 cheap usb power adapter for the cigarette lighter outlet. The firefly device plugs into that USB adapter for power and then into the audio outlet is the console. Once connected, it is set and forget. Just follow simple instructions to pair it with phone. The power is engaged when car is in ready or accessory modes and the Bluetooth syncs up automatically to your phone. this device is amazing. I have three in three cars. Eliminates the need for audio AUX in cable dangling about and having to be plugged in every time you get into car.
Why not just get something like this? It also has phone charging port and a place for a USB stick for audio media.
Yes, that Bluetooth to FM device works but solves a different problem. That device is meant for cars without phone Bluetooth. And it transmits the audio to FmRadio. The Firefly Device I recommended is targeted at a car that has phone Bluetooth but not AUX in Bluetooth. Like my 2007 Prius. That way you only solve the problem you have and don’t change the other features that already work. I have found the Firefly also has Amazon sound fidelity due to its noise suppression circuits.
The Firefly DAC is a good product for personal computer use; it will take the place of the internal sound card and improve the sound quality by far. Maybe that car product is of good quality also.
There is actually a great deal today on a Bluetooth adapter for $9 Appy promo code 35F5JXQ1 Amazon item number B081GGB53R
