Got my inverter replaced by toyota warranty. Barely a month I got p3190 and p3191 with symptom somewhat identical to inverter problem, but this time it wont even go on drive mode and stay on neutral ICE shutdown after 2 seconds. I'm cleaning the maf sensor and throttle assembly checking all hoses for leaks.

I need to chk fuel pump...is there a fuse or relay on the engine bay?...I dont see any on the diagram.

    140k miles...3rd gen prius, I'm just using a bluetooth OBD2 and apps.

I'm just trying to chk everything, I have very little oil on my oil catch can but surprise to see some oil on throttle body thought that would be stop by installing a OCC.

Anyway I'm cleaning the maf, throttle body, intake manifold and replacing the pcv valve....did my egr cleaning 6 month ago.

How do I chk the condition of the fuel pump...I dont see any fuse or relay for fuel pump on engine bay

It's served by the EFI MAIN fuse, which you find on the smaller "integration relay" contained in the fuse box: the black one, with four fuse positions showing on top. The relay is inside there, so using the active test in Techstream to say "please turn the fuel pump on" is really the easiest way to test that.

If you pull that whole unit up out of the fuse box and look at the bottom, three connectors plug in, a single fat wire and two eight-pin plugs. Plug 1B is the one in the middle, and if you bring 12 volts to its pin 8, the fuel pump would run. Pin 8 is the last pin at the end where three wires in a row are red (in the 2010 diagram, anyway).

I'm not sure that's any easier really than pulling up the access panel under the rear seat and bringing 12 volts to the connector there, which is probably what more people would do.

    The Amazon cheapie?

Even the higher rated ones won’t stop everything. A couple of decent quality ones in series can get quite effective.

I think too: for the amount you see lingering in the intake manifold, perhaps a similar amount breezed right through, to the combustion chambers?

Checked prolong kit, they are expensive, I also see maxx volt, anyone have any experience with maxx volt? Do they come complete with the kit to recondition and balance the hybrid battery?

i found somebody in san diego to charge it, getting it back tomm. I suspect a faulty fuel gauge. its reading 1 bar less of having a full tank. I tried using a simple siphoning pump and i didnt get a drop of gas.

i added 2 gallon {is that enough?]..and will try to get my engine to start tomm. If its the gauge then my fuel pump is working.

how do i correct the gauge problem?
is it better to replace the whole fuel pump?

once i get it to start, and no more code, i plan on siphoning whatever is left of the 2 gallon. if i get more than 2 gallon then its the fuel pump.
    will keep u guys updated

Got enough juice on my hybrid battery, added 2 more gallon gas...still no start still the same code.

Still suspecting fuel delivery, I will siphone remaining gas and check fuel pump.

Any other idea? I'm still getting same code and maf sensor code...I really dont want to drain this hybrid battery again
