There's no convenient black negative terminal under the hood, as far as I know. Connect the black lead from the donor battery to a substantial bare metal part.

3G has ground wires connected to the inverter housing, so that would be a suitable point.

2G has the strut mount bolts behind the main relay/fuse box next to the inverter, and the one facing forward is a convenient grounding point.

So I did this too, checked twice, wondered why it looked wrong, then hooked it up anyway and the fire works and horn and lights on ensued.. I am having trouble accessing the right screw, I purchased a fuse box from a wrecking yard, the fuse box was perfect, (I knew i was going to need fuses and relays and practice pulling the box apart)
I got the donor box open but the right bolt is unassesable. Sergey, does the fuse holder area break apart so you can pull part of it lower? here is a pic of the screw i cannot reach. and I don't know how this would come out if i was able to unbolt it. I know i could cut it out, but It wouldnt do me any good if i couldnt then access the one inside, I am looking for advice on how to pull this box apart more so the "fusable link" can be pulled out and then how to insert into my cars box.

    RESOVLED,
there are 5 clips on the inside of the box that allow the center section to lower.

    Hello,
Great information, I hope to try this myself this weekend. Do you have the part number for fuse?

I don't have it, I thought i did more damage than just the one fuse, so i purchased the whole box from a wrecked one on ebay. I think its one you have to purchase from the dealer too, I looked online, and the I couldn't find it in online dealer sales.

Thanks for the pics. Besides hitting these 5 clips what is the rest of the procedure to free the fusebox in the car? I'm confused what you mean by "allow the center section to lower".

Do I remove all cables first, then hit these clips, and just pull the section straight up?

I got the part number of the 125A fuse from the dealer this morning, it's 90982-08297

I'm still struggling to get access to it to do the actual replacement. I'll upload a video. Maybe someone can point out a clip I'm missing.

A while back I added arrows to this diagram to show where the five clips are.

The 125 amp fuse is very difficult to access, but there are easy test points you can reach with a meter probe from the top. If voltage is there with the car off (or if there is continuity from there to the jump point) the fuse is ok. Stick a meter probe down into the square opening with the green arrow here, or (even easier), touch it to the green-indicated test points on any of those three fuses directly above it. (Isn't it handy these blade fuses have test points on top?)
