How Long Did You Wait?

Man times are crazy. Pretty damn sure Prime owners here remember the Prime's $2000-$5000 Toyota instant cash rebate days.

 

oh ya. i could have had one for 22k back in the day (which wasn't very long ago )

i remember when people were selling their used, and buying new and making money off of the deal

 

I started looking in San Diego in March 2022. Was told by several dealers that not only can't you reserve, they're sold before they arrive. April 15th I got a call to rush over as they had one coming in the color I wanted. Paid the deposit and was told two to three weeks. It arrived a week later.

 

Ordered a Prime upgrade on August 17, 2022. Was quoted 9-12 months. Dealer called me Early September and told me they already allocated one for me and it will be here mid-october. Picking it up in two weeks.

 

Thats quite fast! What dealership and how much did you pay?
