I've had a few Prius and just bought my first new to me 2015 Prius V. I was just wondering if there are other OEM wheels from other Toyota models or other manufactures that are direct bolt on even with a thin spacer is fine. I know the regular Prius guy install Corolla wheels and BRZ/FRS wheels with spacers.
The Prius v has a relatively common 5 x 114.3mm bolt pattern. As mentioned, Camry wheels will fit fine. Also, Rav4, many Nissan and Mazda wheels will also fit, but typically have higher offsets, so you might need spacers with those. Typically, you need to pay attention to 3 main things when determining if wheels are compatible with your car, bolt pattern, hub bore, and offset/backspacing. Hub bore size is obviously a problem if you try to mount a wheel that has a smaller hub bore than the hubs on your vehicle. They won't fit, unless you take them to a machine shop and have the hub bore enlarged. Wheel-size.com is a good place for wheel specs, PCD is the bolt pattern specification. The Prius hatchback has a 5 x 100mm bolt pattern, so those wheels are not compatible with the Prius v. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Use the link provided above, wheel-size.com to compare the wheel specs between your stock oem wheels and any that you are considering. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I'm going to need tires soon and I've always on other cars/models put OEM wheels on my cars. Wanted to put Lexus ES350 wheels but seems they are hard to find. Anyone else install other wheels from other models or manufactures?
The CT200h has a different bolt pattern (5x100) than the Prius v (5x114.3mm). Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
CT200H rims might be Prius hatchback (and Corolla, Matrix) class? Prius v rims are swappable with Camry IIRC.
