Did you know more and more businesses are using myspace and facebook to "background" potential employees...and some are being turned down?
Myspace page Being in the IT industry I kinda need to know a bit about myspace, and I have concluded I don't know much as my page is quite plain...

Well of course they check Myspace. It's a forum to see what your employees are doing in their free time. Yes, I am on Myspace. I use it to keep in touch with my friends from back home and Europe so it's a pretty plain page. My friends however cannot say the same. Some of my friends have all kinds of incriminating photos and what not on their pages. I'm surprised half of them haven't been fired from their jobs yet. Although none of us have real grown up jobs yet so that may be why
