Hey Primers. There are many experts on this site with alot of valuable info. I just got a 2022 Prime and I had 2 questions which I tried to answer with searches. But inevitably the search leads me down a path of complicated answers loaded with specific info which I don't need or understand. So I would like to ask: can a charge be interrupted? If the car battery is connected but only half-charged, and I have to use the vehicle, is it ok to disconnect? And also, if I do a complete charge (I'm currently getting 28-30 miles per full charge), and I go on a 12-mile trip in EV mode and use up almost half the charge, is it ok to re-charge to top off the battery when I get home? Or does the battery need to be completely discharged before I connect again? If it's ok to do that, would doing that consistently over the life of the car decrease the battery performance over time? Thanks.

The system is extremely flexible. No need to give it any thought....

You can stop charging at any time.

You can resume charging at any time.

Consider: would it be that easy, to break your car?
