Swapping to 5K OCI Increases MPG?

    Agreed.
    Threads never get off topic or expand on the subject.
    I say just kill off this whole mess.

    Start a new thread titled:
    10k Oil Changes might not be the best for every Prius.

    (but for some, like a bank courier where the car is at highway speeds for 90% of the time and 400 miles per start up, 10k is easy on the oil and the engine.)

    The bottom line is, no manufacturer is going to risk being sued for underreporting the cars actual speed if you should get a speeding ticket.

    As to the original intent of this thread, yes, oil changes are good... :p:D:p:D:p:D:cool:

    Yes I confess, I set cruise control at 34 mph when I am driving. The freeway drivers tells me I’m no. 1 all the time with friendly have gestures and I’m honked at school x-ings every time. I’m I. A great community.
