Hi guys. My 2008 got totaled out from a hit and run and I just picked up a 2006 to get me around its in dire need of some TLC of the many issues it has, it seems to have a reverse camera (physically) but the display doesn't turn on the back up camera and there's no reverse BEEP any recommendations on how to troubleshoot this? This 06 is kind of a stripper model as it doesn't even have the smart key
Reverse beep will likely return after the 12v gets disconnected unless they removed the device that create the beeping sound. Do you get beeping with key FOB in the socket and driver door open?
Yes I do get beeping with the door open and the fob in the socket and also if I open the door while In drive iPhone ?
When I've turned the reverse beep off in my Gen2, the next time the 12v gets disconnected it reverts back to beeping again. I'm told this isn't an issue on Gen3.
