Identify this part

    I thought these things were meant to be reliable, anyway our 12 year old 240.000 mile prius has sprung a oil leak... Yes this is the first problem we've had with it... Anyhow tracked the leak down to this item..... My guess is oil pressure switch but can anybody confirm please..

    That is an oil pressure switch everybody makes them by anyone you like it just turns a light on rarely or after it's too late
