I'm looking for an OEM replacement for my '09s 6 CD changer with JBL and I found a 6 CD changer with JBL with a cassette. I'm wondering if the '05s wiring is any different especially since it has a cassette player built in. I don't want to buy it and find out that the wiring is completely different and then I can't install it.
Wrong thread. He was wanting to swap a non-JBL single CD player into a JBL six CD changer car. Completely different thing. I am wanting to swap an '09 JBL six CD changer out for an '05 JBL six CD changer with cassette player. Not sure if it is different wiring because it is an '05 v.s. and '09 and that it has a cassette player.
Its the same procedure. car-part.com does an automatic Hollander interchange, pretty much guarantee nobody is going to go through the wiring for you. The salvage yards business is to make sure they know what parts fit what. That's why they have this database.
