Hi. I'm not new, but returning. I believe my '08 Touring Prius will need a replacement Hybrid Battery. The warning light is on, the AC has stopped, cruise control not working. I'm stopping driving it until I can fix the problem. Any suggestions besides the very expensive new battery, or taking it to a dealer?

There is a shop in Rosemead that I often use for service, Armstrong Auto Services. Maybe you just have a failed inverter pump? You can check easily by opening the inverter coolant reservoir (when you open the hood, it's directly in front of you with pink fluid), when the car is in READY mode, see if the fluid is moving. If there is no movement in the fluid, then you have a failed pump

Far from an expert, but I would have 12 volt house battery checked first. Lot less expensive!!
