    Can we just dump the 2007 Toyota prius car in gasoline? can the hybrid part be canceled? Who is there?

    Not with the drive-train it has.

    Motor/Generator 2 drives the wheels.

    The engine can assist M/G2 by pushing against M/G1, which also make M/G1 produce electricity for M/G2.

    If you did an engine and transaxle swap with a Toyota Echo/Yaris, that would be what I think you want.

    Changing the motor is very costly, can it be a program change from the brain?

    The electrical operation of the transaxle is the only thing that allows power from the gasoline engine to reach the wheels.
