Nice that you have a warm winter over there This morning when I started my prime and I got an estimated 59.9kms EV range available... nice to have summer all year round
Very Nice. I am trying to get GOM to display 40 miles of EV range (64.4km), but so far 38 miles (61.2km) is the highest achieved. Soon, I have to start using the AC in afternoon, then my EV range will start to go down, but I will have another chance in the fall when I don't need any AC. Then it will be down hill all the way to 20 miles (32.2km) EV range or less in winter.
My GOM estimation is fairly accurate within +/- 1-2miles. When it shows 38 miles, I can actually drive 36-40 miles (58-64km) EV.
I got 60.4kms EV range this morning and mine is the same as Salamander when we get estimated 60km, we actually get pretty accurate 60km +/- few kms off.
Hey Alvin I know what you mean... 1.5 years later still on the original tank of gas. In my case its all about the weather and by the looks of it I may meet or even exceed last summer's high of 70+kms. Got to enjoy it while it lasts.
70+kmms = 43.5 miles. That's impressive. Yeah, same here. It's all about the weather. In Feb, I did not even bother to charge my car. It was getting less than 18 miles (29km) from a full charge, and gas price got soooo low, I was paying ~30% more for EV MODE than HV MODE. This summer, I am getting better EV range than previous two summers so far.
Just an update after 4 years of ownership. This morning I got 60kms of EV before I left home. Since Covid WFH, I leave the battery below 50% until the day I need to drive to work and charge it by schedule. Awesome Prime! I can't wait to see bZ3x to replace this Prime. Cheers.
