Back in the day when I worked for an oil company, Ford's motor oils were made by that company and packaged for Ford. My understanding is Toyota uses Mobil 1.

Made by Exxon-Mobil according to Toyota's recipe, not the same recipe as any Mobil1 branded product.

The only additives I trust are liquimoly additives. Made in Germany and mainly used on luxury cars like Audi, BMW, Mercedes. I used to have an Audi A5 and after using liquimoly engine flush and ceratec additive, it stopped stalling, had better idle, smoother acceleration, and more power. It's like it restored the engine from the inside. They also have an additive called oil saver and it stops oil burning, leaks, and consumptions. Feel free to read the reviews on them from Amazon. Liquimoly the best!

Instead of using oil additives try using an oil that already comes with an additive.

Best oil on the market is Redline 5-30. Already has a ZDDP additive and you can feel how much the motor likes it. has a really good detergent to.

My 2007 used Redline since the day I bought it new 14 years later sold it at 160,000 miles and it did not eat a drop of oil which is very rare for an old G2. Ran perfect.

Redline D6 trans fluid its whole life too.

I sold it 14 years later got $5000 for it after I sold its oem cat for $1300 which still worked great as the guy who bought it on eBay said it ran great on his feedback. So so much for all the stupid zinc will poison your cat nonsense I had to listen to for years.

There's a feedback on this oil from a 2010 Prius owner. Probably a PC member:

BG MOA. I use it too, it increases lubrication and helps to keep the oil good for even longer between changes (though I still change mine every 5000k) .
