Catalytic filter

    Would it be a problem if I got the 2007 Toyota prius catalytic converter dirty and removed it and replaced it with an empty one?

    Quite sure the Prius would have a problem with an empty converter, you will definitely see and hear it.

    That's what it sounds like with nothing there. I think OP is asking what will happen if you replace the catalytic converter with a simple pipe.
