Has anybody debadged their Gen 4 (2016-2022) Prius LE/XLE and do you know if there are holes on the rear hatch? I already bebadged both front fenders and no holes behind the emblems. Just curious if there are any on the rear...

Intrigued why you would? We had a guy up the road who had a GOLF, and by the awful noise I thought it was a DIESEL with not enough exhaust - no badges.

I learned after putting up with the noise for 5 years - it was a GTI. At least according to his neighbour. Why on earth he took the badges off, no idea. He had a plain white GOLF.

I honestly was going to debadge my car, but never got around to it. The rear would look a lot better without those badges. I have to imagine that they are just like any other import car and simply glued on.

Cosmetically looks better without any badges in my opinion

I’ve seen some gen 4 with holes behind the badges so I just don’t want to encounter the same issue

    Pulled all my emblems off.
No holes in fender HYBRID badges.
Two holes in rear HYBRID badge and two holes in PRIUS badge.
Filled the holes with white silicone and will paint to match Wind Chill Pearl when touch-up pen arrives.
Can still tell there is holes up close but from a few feet away, do not notice.
If you are anal about things, this may drive you crazy, which I was for many years, but now I'm okay with it being off a little.

    It's OK, it's OK, it's OK, it's OK, it's OK, it's OK, it's OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I debadged my last car and it made it easier to wash & dry. I'm indifferent on the looks.

I haven't debadged our current vehicles, but about 2 months ago, I caught my wash mitt on a letter on my Cherokee's door badge and damaged the letter, which only led me to replacing the badge with another one lol
