    Be sure your coolant level is not low. Next you need to clean IM, replace pcv too,clean all oil residue from the bottom of TB, clean egr cooler and valve . and hope HG is not blown.

    How many miles on it?

    If the pipe was really clogged, the EGR valve and cooler will likely clogged as well. Watch @NutzAboutBolts video, pinned at top of this forum, for cleaning the EGR valve/cooler. Also the intake manifold cleaning, it's all part-and-parcel.

    Consider an oil catch can on the Positive Crankcase Ventilation circuit as well.

    133k miles. I've seen how videos. That's how I learned about cleaning the pipe. Yeah, it's up there in miles. I had a transmission fluid change and spark plugs. It runs really really good. Which is kinda weird that it had so much gunk build up.

    Excuse my ignorance, but what's TB?

    TB = Throttle Body
    HG = Head Gasket

    I'm not a big fan of obscure acronyms either, would rather see the words typed out, at least once. Unless they're really universally known.

    So sorry. We veen talking bout that issue of engine knocks and these acrinyms bacame too common. An oil catch can (OCC) is not a bad idea at all after all is over.

    Your reasonably low-mileage and lack of misfire code(s) gives you a fair chance that your head gasket is still intact, imo. But don't delay on getting after the EGR circuit. Cleaning the pipe or the valve doesn't accomplish anything if the full blockage is in the intake manifold or the cooler. And full blockage pretty much always occurs in the intake manifold or the cooler, or both;).

    If the car is an oil burner, the cooler may be worse. If it doesn't burn oil, the intake manifold will likely have complete blockage of one or more of the small veins and heavy, carbon goo limiting flow in the main port. This was the case with my 2010 (non-oil burner) at 97k miles. It "shuddered" at the exact type of acceleration you describe. I'm guessing that by ~130k miles it would have been full blown rattle, if it made it that far:unsure:...

    Did you figure it out because mine is when accelerating slowly
