Ok. Continually disabling RSA. continually it comes back enabled on next startup. I really want the mpg meter as my second display. How do I disable RSA permanently?
Page 693 of the OM in the USA shows the customization setting for the default to change the default from “on” to “off”. Here it is a customer setting.
Page 693 in the UK OM manual (vehicles manufactured June 2021 onwards) is an index. On page 151 of the manual it does detail how to set both RSA and DRCC RSA “off”, but this has no effect after the next car startup, DRCC RSA stays off, RSA turns back on.
Do you have a Customization Menu, or a section in the manual addressing vehicle customization settings? Or would Carista work for customizing this setting?
There is a section in the manual yes. customizing isn’t the issue. It’s the reset after car restart. I have never used Christa tbh. Can you give more info.
Carista is an OBDII app that has access to more customization settings. However, in the US the Vehicle Customization Settings allow the owner to change the RSA default from “on” to “off”, in addition to just switching it of like you are doing in the display menu.
Have the same problem. Op did you ever figure it out? RSA keeps switching back on, it’s super annoying
