Any way to fix a MFD (86110-47230) screen that looks to have sun damage? That's the brightest it'll go in the shade, it's worst in person and driving in the sun it's basically not visible. Brightness is on highest and looks the same on orange and green color scheme. I'd rather not have to replace the whole unit since it's mostly working other than the brightness / sun damage issue.

Was thinking of getting it repaired but ended up buying a used one with a working screen for $190. Does anyone buy these units in their damaged state? I remember seeing a website that offered $60 for them but can't seem to find it anymore.
