yep. I had trouble myself. I held it with vice grips and finally got it off. Bought new sway bar links. I had to buy from local auto parts for $80. On my wifes car I planned ahead and bought a new set for $40 when I bought the rest of the stuff.

i did buy new ones already, the old ones stripped, i ended up using the breaker bar to loosen it, anyway got one side done. Took from 9am to 1pm lol, now for the other side, hpoefully much faster. I did have to stop and clean out the rust and apply copper antiseize and everything. I had trouble with losening the knuckles nut too, rustlocked pretty hard.

Sounds like mine. I am lucky to have no rust. The other side will be faster because now you have done one so you know what to expect. The rears are a breeze compared to the fronts I think.

hah only took 1 hour and a half on the other one, definitely easier knowing what to expect now. Took it out for test drive so much better now, my passenger right side use to wobble really hard now it stablizes quickly. torqued everything to spec and will check them again in a couple of days. Thanks for the help, I only doubted doing it myself twice this whole procedure hahahha. swaybar links and the knuckle, both issues fixed with my long breaker bar. I would do this again, good learning experience.

Yup. Good job. And now you can help the next guy. I'm tackling this project again in 2 weeks on my wifes car.

Can't see if the rubber on the tie rod end is actually broken or cracked, can you slide it back on?

I'm not sure either, what does that control? lateral suspension? or actual movement?
