My 2010 with >200,000 miles is completely dead. Not much of a warning. Had a little trouble starting it up at the grocery store this morning which if very rare. I had to press the start button a few times. Car eventually started, but the display screen never came on. Got home and turned it off. Now it's totally dead. Can’t even unlock from the inside. No light on the start button. Check engine light was on for a second during the “dead” time. Can I even run a diagnostic if it won't start up? Thank you for any ideas.
Thanks ASRDogman. That's what I'm trying to check right, but I can't get access because I'm not able to unlock the back door. I'm going to try to figure out a way to get it open. Appreciate your reply. Update: was able to figure out how to open from the inside. Thanks again.
check your manual. you crawl in the back with a flashlight and there is an emergency release below the floor board under the latch. or the easier way is to put 12 volts to the jump point under the hood. then you can open the hatch as normal
