Zip tie modification…safe?

    Okay so I did a thing. The cowl was kind of loose and rattling, so I put 3 zip ties on (through the holes where the existing clips are). Now it’s nice and snug.

    My question is: is this safe? I know it gets hot in there, and I don’t want to damage anything.

    that'll be fine, it's not that warm there, and it would take a lot to melt a zip tie

    I'm pretty sure it's safe, but it'll annoy you the next time you need to do a thing that requires the cowl out....

    The zip ties are made of nylon 6-6; the same material as the original clips and the likely maternal that makes up the cowl.
