MFD Screen delaminating

    Hey guys,

    Ever seen this before? I've see cracked, faded and about everything else but this ones new to me. My guess is I'm looking at the touch membrane separating from the screen but almost seems deeper. Found a few threads for a replacement 7in four pin touch screen but all the links seem to produce products which are no longer available.

    Follow up to this. I'll be pulling out the unit (lol) this weekend and attempting to remove the outter most layer of the screen. Being a thin transistor film, I'm hoping the outer layer is just a protective film and not part of the touch sensitive membrane. Wish me luck!

    Any chance that y'all are seeing the protective plastic cover that is supposed to be temporary and easily removed ?

    Whatever happened to the answer on this guys? Sure I can go swap it out and total but would be nice to know if there's a partial fix
