Does anyone know of any other politicians that own hybrid vehicles. I know my congressman, Jim Saxton, owns a Honda Civic Hybrid, and that Tom Kean, Jr. owns a Ford Escape Hybrid. I know Nancy Pelosi also wanted to drive a Prius, but there was a big controversy over her having to be escorted to the capitol by capitol police.

This is Prius-specific, but I didn't see any politician's names on this list (unless you count Aryana Huffington and Tim Robbins).

The mayor of Houston, Bill White (a Democrat), drives a black 2004 Prius (and the city of Houston has a whole fleet of Prii, both gen 1 and gen 2).

Jim McDermott, congressman from the 47th District in Washington State owns a 2003 Prius. I've met him several times. He's probably one of the most liberal politicos in either Washington.
