Weird sound in the front, no codes, so lost

    Hey guys,

    It’s Sunday so can’t bring the car to the mechanic and there are no codes showing, so I have no idea what this could be.

    The car started making a weird noise this Friday, it was hard to notice at first for me but then it got obvious. Almost a whistling sound when I press on the gas. I attached videos of what it sounds like. After startup and after I push the gas a bit.







    Has anyone had this before? Any ideas?

    Starting to get anxious that it might be an expensive fix :(

    How many miles does this car have? I see your coolant level is below the normal level. What type of maintenance have you done to the car?

    I would call that engine sound oddly labored, with or without the hissing sound.

    I wonder what the exhaust system looks like, and what its backpressure is.

    I certainly would do a top and bottom visual check along with a mechanics stethoscope inspection. AC off. Ideally on a lift with the undercovers removed.
