I was interested in installing the C-ONE upper grille block, and I think there was a group buy coming together, but that fell though. I was hoping to find a place cheaper than Sigma.
Not a body kit, but turnerdhr (PriusChat Forums - View Profile: turnerdhr) got his fenders rolled to accommodate 19" rims and I was all like OMGWTF?
Carbon-Fiber for better gas mileage I presume. Looks good. I'm interested in this area, but will probably never mod mine this far. I guess if I were to wreck it and just body damage was done, perhaps.
yikes not a fan of that extreme dimension kit. They should ditch the vents. I was under the impression that the prius hood is aluminum? Negates the effect of a carbon fiber hood.
Too bad Vertex-USA.com doesn't offer a kit for our Gen2's. Their Vertex ISM kit for the Gen3's look awesome! Toyota Prius :: Toyota :: Vertex USA
+10000 A lot of the time, the CF hoods are heavier than the stock aluminium ones. That's the case with the Seibon "wet" CF hoods on the Evo at least. "Dry" CF is lighter, but only marginally, and quite a bit more expensive.
skyoracer02, Does the new hood have the raised, flat ellipse where the Circle-T badge would be mounted like the OEM hood? Due the flat paint/lighting, I can't really tell in your picture.
I wouldnt mind the body kit sykoracer02 is getting. As for his hood.....maybe its an OEM hood replacin a tired hood
Does anyone know if the Duraflex B-2 body kit pictured above would prevent the install and use of a hitch?
