My drivers side sun visor does not stay up all the way. Is there any way to fix this or does it have to be replaced? They are pretty pricy.
I had the same problem with a visor in our Pathfinder. When this happens, it is very likely that the spring inside of the hinge is broken. It may be repairable, but I think you really have to open up the visor to get to the spring. It would be much easier to replace it. I got used OEM visor from eBay for a very reasonable price.
Mine is a old gen 2. But if I push it around the opposite direction and hold it a second and back up it stays up most of the way to where it's not a problem. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
