Hey there, I am having a hard time identifying which model my 2011 is. When I use sites that give info from my VIN number, there is nothing like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...it only says "Vehicle characteristics GRADE S: S Type. Odd, right? I'm searching for specs about the car. Maybe it's a fleet car, or some other kind of build. I'm stumped. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.
No, I don't think so. The Carfax report is clean, and so is the car. Not a scratch on it, like it was only kept in a garage with under 40K miles.
Thank you! It has some special features, it has leather, and nav, but seems like a basic single CD radio, the rear camera doesn't work, no seat heaters. So it seems like a 1 or a 4. Weird.
What RRxing said ... look on your driver's door sill for the ZVW30L-AHX?BA where the ? is B, E, or G, and those correspond to the model grades L, S, and G. That's an internal grade designation you still sometimes run into (say, in the parts catalogs) even in the US market where the 1,2,3,4,5 marketing designations are used. You'll notice there are more US marketing designations than there are grade letters, so I think a US 4 and 5 are both considered G grade with different options installed, and so on. Yes, it's confusing. -Chap
I believe G is the highest, followed by S and then L (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). When I was looking for LED headlight parts in an online parts catalog I ran into this. I think I remember the LED headlights were offered on the G style only. iPhone ?
@Spengel : Bisco means can you unlock/lock the two front doors and hatch by just touching the handles. (For the life of me I can't remember what sks stands for.)
According to the last graphic in post #8, the 2 and 3 have 1 door SKS, and the 4 and 5 have 3 door SKS.
Thanks to all of you, I think I have my answer. My car is a 2011 Prius 2, with leather seats (the leather was making me scratch my head about what the correct number was) I have the smart key system for the driver side door only. standard radio head unit, and other Prius 2 features. Thanks everybody for the diagnosis! I found this description which helped detail what S means in context with the VIN number, just as ChapmanF and TrentofDestiny mentioned. a. L-Package (Basic one without fog lights) b. S-Package (With Fog lights and TV/DVD/Navigation) c. G-Package (Same as S But with Leather stitched steering and Cruise Control) d. S-LED Package (Same as S But with LED XENON Lamps, Headlight washer, Two Tone Beige Interior) e. G-LED Package (Same as S-LED But with Leather stitched steering and Cruise Control and Leather heated seats)
Thanks I also didn't know what the S meaning was car sales said it was a model S turns out I have S-led package.
