Rear brakes - do I need the cube tool? And other brake questions

    Will be calling them soon, but was hoping someone here already had a list.

    While searching up parts, I saw a post about Toyota offering two lines of brake components; OEM, and a lower-cost line. Hoping I don't mix them up, and am able to figure out the OEM numbers

    Since I use a pneumatic piston tool like the Matercool 43050, I guess I don't even listen to what the caliper has to say. (I've got the cube and the other screw type tool somewhere, but don't hate myself enough to consider using either anymore).

    Seriously, you get used to the feel of what "will work" as you wind it back vs. "that's bad - replace it". Like caliper pins it sometimes can take quite a bit of force to get the piston to begin moving then it can be OK.

    I always peel the boot back before anything and give it a little shot of silicone spray to prevent it from sticking in the piston groove.

    So here is what I managed to find out so far about the parts:
    Front:
    1. Disc Brake Rotor (Front) - Toyota (43512-47040)
    2. Brake Pads - Toyota (04465-47070) -- OEM
      1. Brake Pads - 04465-AZ123 -- According to this post and the chart linked there as well as here, these are the lower-cost TCMC pads
    3. Disc Brake Pad Shim Kit - Toyota (04945-47020)
    4. Disc Brake Anti-Rattle Clip Set - Toyota (04947-42050)

    Rear:
    1. Disc Brake Rotor - Toyota (42431-12310)
    2. Brake Pads - Toyota (04466-76012) -- If I'm reading the above-mentioned (and attached here) chart correctly, these are used in 2010s, 2011s, and 2013s. There was revised version, which I list next.
      1. Brake Pads - Toyota (04466-47080) -- If I read the chart correctly, these are used in 2012s and 2014s? According to @Mendel Leisk in this post, these have a greater bevelled area? These seem to be the part used to remedy brake squeal that some were experiencing.
      2. The thing is, though, that if this is used on some Gen 3s, I would think that they would work on all Gen 3s?
      3. They seem to have started using 04466-47101 beginning with 2015s, and forward through ZVW50s, ZVW51s, and ZVW55s. Keep in mind, though, that this chart is from 2020.
    3. Disc Brake Pad Shim - Toyota (04946-12090) -- According my reading of the chart, these seem to be used on 2010s
      1. Brake Pads Hardware Kit - Toyota (04946-47070) -- According to the chart, these seem to be used on 2011s and forward. Perhaps to be used with the revised pads mentioned above, or just another attempt to remedy brake squeal some were experiencing.
    4. Brake Pads Hardware Kit - Toyota (04948-47010) -- According to the chart, these are used on 2010s - 2014s. They seem to have started using part 04948-12060 on 2015s and forward.
