Opening up the front dash to get to the evaporator. I removed the A pillar trim. There were no airbags. Bought it used. Is this correct or was the vehicle in an accident? 2006 Prius.
Yep. Optional until 2007. Reminds me of the bar room scene from the movie, My Cousin Vinny. Salesman says, Do you want the optional airbag? Hmmm… let’s see, a choice, airbag or my head gets smashed like a ripe tomato. Not sure, let me think about it. Ok, I’ll take the airbag.
