My friend just bought an 06 with 394k miles on it. It won't shift out of park. All the lights are on and the ICE doesn't turn on. The previous owner said it needs a new motor because it was run too low on oil. The previous owner was able to get it in neutral to get it on the trailer, but now it won't go out of park and it is stuck on the trailer. Any suggestions?
He hasn't scanned it yet. He was just trying to get it off the trailer first. But that is what we have to do now. I will once we get the codes. He's charging the 12 volt now. It was getting a little low.
