I have a 2008 Prius Touring with ~200,000 miles. It is my daughter's car for college that I would like to get at least 3 more years out of if I can, safely and reliably (especially with what cars are going for today).

If I hit start button twice (no brake), the red triangle comes up in about 1 minute.
Using Techstream, I am seeing P0AA6 main code and detail code 2 = 526, detail code 3 = 612 (no other detail codes).

Contemplating a new (not reconditioned) battery from Greentec.

Should I open up the battery case to check for any signs of 'smaller' problems that I might could fix or just go ahead and replace the whole pack ?
If I replace the pack, I assume that would come with all new wires and connectors and everything inside the pack... are there any other things I should check outside the battery pack ?
