The engine has never been touched after 208,000 miles. Fluids and filters done often, runs great! Finally got around to changing the plugs.. what a job! This car is ran on 87 octane, the manual calls for 91. I was expecting the EGR cooler to be clogged like a Prius cooler. To my surprise it looked fantastic! Enjoy the pics
Did peripheral stuff have to come off to access plugs, say wipers/cowl per 3rd gen Prius? Did you check the intake manifold too? Judging from the cooler condition I'd suspect it'd also just be slightly sooty.
Seeing this, this may save me having to perform surgery on the wife's 2017. Well done. Good piece of mind and thank you for sharing .
