HELP - 12v battery on backorder

    Thanks. I got it this time. It certainly could be a fix for some. I wonder if that affects some or all of 2020 PP and Rav4 Prime? I don't think there was any recall, so it had to be a Technical Bulletin item for specific models.

    The problem is that the dead 12v battery issue existed on the models without the Data Communication module, namely pre 2019 PP Plus and Premium. And it seems to continue to exist in 2021 models, if it was a 2020 model-specific software fix, then it should have been fixed on the 2021 model.

    Had to change out my battery today. Nothing at the local dealers, Autozone or O'Reilly.
    Picked up an MTP-T4 from Interstate Batteries. It fit perfectly. T4 is same as H4, but shorter.

    Costco may be able to get these. They sell Interstate batteries. The price will be much better. The only difference is that the warranty is covered only by Costco.

    As @PT Guy recommended I would go with Costco's interstate battery. Everyone knows Costco's return policy is 2nd to none.
