I've only seen glowing reviews for BG 44K system cleaner. Has anyone's Prius been damaged by using this product? I'm thinking of running a treatment through although my 225k car drives well and gets 48-49mpg, so perhaps I shouldn't F with it.
I've used it pretty consistently and have not noticed any detriment whatsoever. My MPGs improved after the first run, and last time I had my intake manifold off for cleaning the valves and injectors looked clean as a whistle, where as the first time they were completely gunked.
Used it in old 2010 and it worked well. I've been told the mileage now is over 220k miles and still going strong. Used it annually per the instructions.
Wynns makes a similar IV fed type system too pretty competitive on pricing too. We used it at the garage that had all the sheriff cars on contract it was used religiously there was also used religiously at Goodman Toyota in Raleigh North Carolina where I worked for a few years
