No antifreeze in the oil or signs of in the cap. This maybe a start of a gasket going bad. I got a scope today so on the weekend i'm going check the cylinders out. does make noise all the time.

No, my 2010 Prius runs perfectly but I only have 104,000 miles on it. I actually got the endoscope to to look for mouse turds and nesting around the hybrid battery because I has evidence of mice nesting around the spare tire well. Fortunately the area around the batter was clean.

In my opinion, the pistons look normal. There is no evidence of "steam cleaning" from engine coolant. Did you have the check engine light on? Did you check for any DTCs? Do you have TechStream? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Have techstream. . One day it was not started for days. Below 0 days as a high. Went to start it and came up with check hibrid and sent a check engine light stating engine did not start, but it did start with a lot of noise. Thought it was a head gasket going bad, but antifreeze has only gone down 1/2 an inch since it was new.
