A friend was using my beloved 2001 Prius(her car was in the shop), and hit black ice on a bridge. With 120,000 miles on it, original battery, mostly rust free, and still making40 Mpg, I'm hoping to fix it. But for the life of me, I can't figure out what this white reservoir/tank is! Can anyone help me? This is the passenger side, underneath the engine coolant reservoir. Thank you in advance!
2001? I think the windshield washer bottle is on the other side. Therefore, put me down for the Helmholtz resonator for the engine intake.
Best guess, it's not a tank, it's part of the engine under cover. https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/p/__/3979798/5144147010.html
The white jug-like thing? It's the air intake resonator. 2001 Toyota Prius Engine Air Intake Resonator. System, Exhaust, CLEANER - 1789321020 - Genuine Toyota Part
