I am at the boiling point with this radio. The text to speech will not work because the mic in this Prius is so utterly bad, I’m having to retype the entire message while driving. If I replace the stock radio, then I lose certain functionality settings within the radio like programming the door lock, lighting and diagnostics. does anybody have schematics or a video on how to replace the factory mic with a high quality aftermarket one?
In regards to losing features with a new radio, looks like quite a few people recommend the iDatalink Maestro Rr. I don’t personally have any experience with it so I can’t vouch for it.
