I found a procedure for changing the battery module on the prius hybrid 2006. Within the procedure there are torque settings for certain bolts. However, on the video there are no comments referring to torque settings. Any suggestions?
What procedure? What video? I can read your post, but I can't read your mind. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
In the old days before I had all the big money and bought all the fancy tools I tried to put stuff back the way I found it so as much oomph as I had to use to undo it I tried to put it back to that same oomph. I built engines like this for a few years none of them ever flew apart not saying that's the way to go but if you're only going to do this once or twice in your life wella.. The battery case end plastics and the 12 mm that sandwiches the modules together they were tight AF I couldn't believe 12s would be whacked down that hard
The most important fasteners are the individual module terminals where the busbars are installed (48 INCH-pounds), the fasteners under the battery that lock the modules to the case (48 INCH-pounds) and the nuts that connect the main orange cables to the relays (48 INCH-pounds). So....anything that has an 8mm hex head=48 INCH-pounds.
