My 2017 Prime gets water inside the door lip after it Rains. It dries and looks muddy. Is there any added device that would prevent this from happening? I don't like getting into the car and seeing the dirt. Of course, it's the white color. It does the sam thing in the hatch door.
Door thresholds help some, not sure why they're NOT standard equipment. Toyota made them an option, and to up the ante made sells them as a set of four, with the front door thresholds illuminated, which is kinda useless, gets old real fast, and quadruples the price. Cars get dirty. Live with it. Honestly, it is just wet dust and there is little to nothing you can do to "prevent" it.....except maybe wash your car more often so that the residual water after a rain is cleaner.
