My bad day was Tuesday when I learned: 1) My daughter's friend's mother was found floating (dead) in Lake Michigan. 2) A dad from my Indian Guides group committed suicide. 3) The wife of a business associate left him and their two kids without any warning leaving only a note. Now that's one BAAAAAAAAAD Effin' day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Something about "threes" probably applies here.
Wow, I thought it had been a rough week for me. At first I thought that it had to be Photoshopped, but then I saw more pictures and thought, man to be that bad it must be real!
NO, IT"S REAL. Talk about one freaky day! First, re the woman found floating in the lake, we don't even know what happened yet; no signs of trauma and she had called her husband telling him to pick her up at the train station. She was found early the following morning. Re the suicide, I never knew the guy to be anything other than friendly, easy-going, and well-adjusted. He almost always had a smile on his face. Finally, the wife, now MIA, was probably one of the most mousy and shy people I have ever met. There were times she wouldn't even go shopping without her husband. Totally bizarre.
Sorry, looks like I should read the messages a little closer before responding. The link doesn't work (for me, at least). Can anyone explain what exactly occurred?
Disregard the post (above). Saw the pictures! Yikes! However, in the same thread, this was pleasant: [Broken External Image]:http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=327688
Yep. BUT, with membership increasing, we had better provide something for the female members............so here:
Thanx. When he's all grown up, he'll be weighing in over 100 pounds. At a little over 4 months old, he weighed in at 51.3 pounds this morning.
So he'll be a big'un. I grew up with Newfoundlands, first was 150# and the second was 130#. Seems like big dogs are sweet though, definitely not yappy.. Sandpiper, back from trip to AL
