Same as the one for a 2006. 1/8" male-male stereo cable. It looks like the end of the headphone cord the ipod came with, except there is one on both sides. The Radio Shack guys can show you which one you want.

 

You'd have to do a search on this site, but there is another type of connector. It has a 1/8" connector on one side and a standard iPod connector on the other. Instead of using the "Headphones Out" connection, this is supposed to have a better audio signal. There's even one with a connection to charge the iPod.

Neither is available at Radio Shack and will cost more.

Just get the 1/8" mini-stereo to mini-stereo at Radio Shack for $6 and be done. The quality is fine -- afterall the pods plug in the same way. I use mine in our Prius and Element and I'm picky about sound. Try and get a short cable if you can -- the six foot one is bulky even after you tie it up.

This type of cable is definitely more expensive, but also better. by using the line out on the iPod (instead of the headphone jack), the volume setting on the iPod doesn't matter... for me, this was huge because i would have to crank it up when i plugged it into the car, then remember to turn it back down before blasting holes in my eardrums.

Also, if you experience static when listening to the iPod through the car, you'll want to get a "ground loop isolator"... you can do a search for that here for more information if you need it.

 

If you want to spend more money (and I mean anywhere from $135 to $299) there is the DICE and the VAIS iPod intregration systems. You don't use the AUX input at all for the iPod and it gives you control via the buttons on the steering wheel and MFD. It will also display the Title, Artist and Album on the MFD.

In addition to what eagle33199 posted, the VAIS works with the 2006, and the 2007 should be the same.

 

A relatively functional option for about 35 or so bucks is the Belkin Auto Kit for the iPod...you can pick one up at CompUSA or even Target (don't have them at Best Buy). The kit will plug into the port for the iPod, has a car charger and an integrated jack that will connect to the AUX input...both plug in to their respective locations in the center console.
