Yes but somehow different then Gen3 stylee! Totally out of my ballgame brain to explain differences.,...but just a bit different. However!!! the 'V' uses the same Gen 3 style Lukey, the Prius "c" is a gem in my Prius handbook. Similar to Gen 2...which is hardier then the Gen 3. I cannot speak from personal experience but the "v" does have more room than the "c' but I personally think it is a downgrade (V owners can beat and bash me now...well some without HG issues) I honestly do not see many issues on the "c" here on the forum, but the Gen 3 and the "v" I see many. Hey just adding my thoughts but that mileage is high
For some. Others they get a new car: Out with the old..... | PriusChat The Garage just got Crowded | PriusChat Maybe I need a bit more seasoning to quell those urges.
A 2013 Prius v with 216k miles will burn oil and it will have a $2500 brake booster go out on you and it will need a $2300 hv battery and it will blow a head gasket in your ownership. It will have oil collecting in the intake manifold and an egr system clogging up. You have a gem of a Prius c with half the miles. Its a no brainer even if half of the common v problems above don't happen.
I am personally a fan of the color orange. The Prius V is very limited in the number of colors available, and orange is not one of them.
I like this color also, it's very unusual and they call it Habanero. Sometimes people compliment me on the color. My first new car in 1971 was a VW Super Beetle and the color was Clementine / orange, very similar to this color. I met the love of my life when I had the orange VW in 1972, then I broke off with her 4 years later and have been mostly single since then but she remarried. I have a feeling she loves me and we will reunite eventually, and I'll have another small orange car at that time.
Interesting... I actually dream of owning an orange colored car to match the orange associated with Howard Johnson's. I think it is because of the love of my life / SO and her obsession with all things HOJO. She has a popular Pinterest page called "HOJO Stuffe". To make the "HOJO Theme" complete, the interior of the car would have to be turquoise.
I didn't realize the Gen 2 was better than the Gen 3. Another thing is that used cars seem over priced at this time due to chip shortages for new cars. I'm keeping my Prius C gem. Thanks for the encouragement. I have a great car.
I got rid of my 2015 Gen 3 (family car) just a few months ago...and upgraded to a 21 Prius Prime. (for a few grand) Now carana is offering me just shy of $14k for my prius c (55k mi) which is almost 70% of what I paid for it brand new!!!..IT IS AN 8 YR OLD CAR!!! But I have not pulled trigger since I love my c and the same deals are not out there to upgrade subject to change at any time WE have a great car!
